Anti-rub stretch vest

This vest is simple to fit and great for preventing rubbing. The vest is made from stretch fabric and goes on over the horses head. The Anti-Rub Stretch Vest is then secured using an elasticated surcingle which fastens round the girth area creating a second skin to keep the horse comfortable.

Anti-rub fleece vest

During the winter, most horses wear rugs all day, everyday, and this can lead to rubbing even with a well fitting rug. The Fleece Vest from Shires helps to eliminate this problem. The vest is made from equi-fleece and in addition to preventing rubbed patches appearing on the horses shoulders, it also helps to keep the horse warm. The vest slips on over the horses head and is then held in place with an elasticated surcingle which fastens across the horses girth area.
